Jim Houston- Owner/CIO/CFO

Jim was born in New Jersey but grew up in South Florida the son of a Dade County Deputy Sheriff. After serving 10 years in the US Army Special Operations Command he attended college at Murray State University and Washington University receiving a Master’s Degree in History.
After spending 10 years in Nashville, TN as Director of Information technology for Shoney’s corporation, Jim and his family returned to Gainesville where he founded PWH Technology Solutions, later rebranding as Gnosys Networks in memory of a friend that passed away at a very young age.

Jim has over twenty three of IT experience with a focus in user support and virtualization and disaster recovery. He holds several industry certifications including MCSE, A+, Server + and Net +, as well as many software vendor specific certifications including Dell, VMware, 3CX, Seagate, GeoVision and EnGenius.

Jim spends his down time target shooting, playing tactical simulation games and is learning to cut gem stones. He the proud owner Gnosys Networks.

James Houston- Technician

James was born in Florida, but spent the majority of his life in
Nashville, Tennessee. James moved back to Gainesville with his family
years in 2008.

After graduating from the International Baccalaureate program at
Eastside High School, James became an intern at Gnosys Networks in 2015
in order to learn the skills required for a career in IT. In 2017, James
became an A+ certified technician and was promoted to a system support
technician. James plans to continue learning and working on his skills
to become a better technician.

Taylor Morello

Taylor is a native Floridian, born and raised in Fort Myers. Upon graduating from Fort Myers Senior High School, she went on to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville. Since, she has held positions with the 20th Judicial Circuit – State Attorney’s Office and has taken additional classes delving with computer forensics through online MIT courses. Now in her junior year as a Criminology and Law major, her focus has become revolved around IT. She strives to learn further technical skills and later apply them with her degree knowledge in criminal investigations. Taylor, in her downtime, enjoys football games (Go Gators!), traveling, and serving others.

Allen Steinhart- Director of Operations SW Florida Office

Allen is a native Floridian, who grew up in Alabama. After serving 7 years in the US Army and US Navy he completed his degree in Network Engineering, and went on to lead a team of system administrators in support of a large Department of Defense data center at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Allen has over two decades of IT experience with a focus in network design and implementation, data integrity and recovery, and operating system maintenance. He holds several industry certifications including MCSE, CCNA, A+, Net +, and Security +, as well as DoD certifications in Information Assurance.
A Florida native who grew up in Alabama, he and his wife Polly returned to Lee County in 2013 with their youngest Daughter Bridgit. Allen is an avid SCUBA diver, fisherman, and poker player. He currently serves as Director of Operations for Gnosys Networks in Southwest Florida.
